More pandora

So, blogging from china proved to be super expensive. So sometimes the blogger is elisse, blogging the pictures she gets texts of. My bad- this is what the pandora inspiration was:

Welcome to pandora

Our views look like this quite often.

So we started out early this morning meeting the 50 new
Arrivals from the states in the lobby. They didn't have a chance to catch their breath and we had them on motor coaches ( fancy bus) and started our day. We have been to the top of the mountain on the hk side called Victoria Peak, ate at the McDonalds there. Then went by the harbour and rode on a sampan boat around the place where people live on their boats. Mom did great! The back on the bus to a jewelry factory ( man was I nervous!!!!!). But she resisted ( plus it helps that we have money !!). Then back on the bus and now we are sitting at an outdoor table eating dim sum and curry with a view of the bay. Stanley market is a tourist trap, but fun for mom to see. They are having long boat rowing races next to us. So that's it so far and it's only noon!!!!!!!

Macau

Here we are on day one! 90 degrees, 90% humidity and raining..but we are having a fun time with the group…we took 8 people to Macau which is an island one hour by jet boat ( ferry)

The patch worked and mom didn’t get sick!  Jim and Carol took us out to eat later at Outback in Hong Kong..it was very good. Well, off to bed, the tour starts in earnest in the morning when the

Main group arrives at 8…..

Learning to post via Elisse

So I am learning how to post, so I can do it.  I hope that I can remember, since I am suffering from part Heimers.

I am also learning how to download pictures.

My first post

So here is my first official comment. I can't believe that I am going to enter the techy age. I am used to writing in a diary not on a computer. For the sake of my kids I will try to do a good job. Since I am leaving for three weeks, and this will be our only contact I better get up to speed. I think I will need some more lessons on how to download pictures before I go. I am so not ready to go. I am still moving into my house. I hope I can get it all together before Wed. night. Yah, that's when we leave at 9:40.
